Opening night was not how any of us felt it would play out with the Blackhawks except for the final score with the Blackhawks leading at the end. I had the Hawks winning 4-3 so a one goal game was right just both offenses took longer to click than one would think on opening night with Corey Crawford saving the day.
Tonight should be a whole different ball game with the Blackhawks kicking off the home schedule against the lowly Buffalo Sabres. This should be a scoring bonanza for the Blackhawks and if the same Corey Crawford shows up from Dallas it will be a blowout early and often.
