What can you say about Brandon Saad that hasn’t already been said? Here’s a player that pretty much has reliability and consistency written all over him. Comparisons with Marian Hossa aside, he continues to develop as one of the best two-way forwards in the league. Saad is just one of those players you enjoy watching in every game. Even though he ended up with a -1 in the season opener against the Stars, there’s little reason to think he is headed anywhere but on a continuous upward trajectory.
