The Blackhawks season has finally kicked off and they are off to a 2-0 start and while some things have looked great some things haven’t look so good.  Here are some numbers from the first week of action by the Blackhawks

4- Points needed for Marian Hossa to reach 1,000 career points, and Patrick Kane to reach 500 career points

33-13 The Third period shot difference between the Blackhawks and their opposition through 2 weeks.

3- Brandon Saad‘s set a career high for assists in one game against the Buffalo Sabres

13- Not shocking, Patrick Sharp is already the Hawks leader by 3 on shots on goal.

17:59- David Rundblad‘s team low ice time

-1 The only player with a negative +/- is Brad Richards

2-0 The Hawks continue a trend from last year if they score first they usually win

30- In 145 games played Johnny Oduya only has skated off 30 times with a regular season regulation loss

8- Points from the 2nd line of Andrew Shaw, Brandon Saad, and Patrick Kane picking up where they left off in the Western Conference Finals

1- Goal!!!
