The Blackhawks finally get back to a normal NHL schedule this week after the first two weeks of only 2 games a piece, and for the next couple weeks the Blackhawks will be playing every other night after this two-day break at the beginning of the week.  So here is a quick look-in at this weeks schedule for the Blackhawks

Tuesday– Philadelphia Flyers at the United Center

If there ever was a cure for the Blackhawks scoring issues it has to be the Flyers!  Philly is giving up over 4 goals a game early this season and the Hawks have been putting up at least 40 shots a night so something has to give.  The Flyers are 2-4 to start the season so no reason to let them come up for air now

Thursday– Nashville Predators In Smashville

I will be making the road trip to Nashville to see the Blackhawks play.  My last two times I’ve watched the Hawks on the road I’ve witnessed Steven Stamkos score hat tricks so let’s hope no one gets froggy in Smashville Thursday night.  The Hawks caught Carter Hutton Saturday on the back end of back to back games so don’t be surprised if the Hawks face Pekka Rinne this week.

Saturday– St. Louis On The Road

The 2nd Central Division game of the week on the road has the Hawks heading to the Arch to visit the Blues.  This is a game that Daniel Carcillo won’t miss no matter who is healthy enough to play.  The Blues didn’t lose their 2nd game last season until the middle of November but they are already 2-2-1 early in the year.

Sunday– Ottawa at the U.C.

The Senators are one of the early season surprises after losing Jason Spezza they looked to be headed to a bit of a regression, but they are 4-1 entering the week.  Is it real or just a smokescreen?

Four Games This week and the Blackhawks season will finally seem kicked off!! Lots of action I can’t wait!!! What game are you looking forward to the most, it’s easy for me the trip to Nashville will be fun!
