9. Chicago Blackhawks 4-2-1: The Blackhawks have lost two in a row this week. Earlier this week it was announced that Corey Crawford was out with an upper body injury. On Saturday the Blackhawks sustained another loss. Daniel Carcillo is going to be out more than two weeks with a hyper extended knee. The Blackhawks need more production from its stars especially Marian Hossa. Hossa has 1 goal and 1 assist this season.

8. Tampa Bay Lightening 5-3-1: Super Prospect Jonathan Drouin debuted this week for the Lightening. Ben Bishop continues to be off to a hot start this week. The Lightening did lose Victor Hedman with a broken hand this week. He is supposed to be out 4 to 6 weeks.

7. Ottawa Senators 4-1-1: The city of Ottawa suffered a major loss. CPL Nathan Cirillo was shot by a terrorist earlier this week. The city of Ottawa has turned to the Senators to help with the healing process. All across the NHL teams have been doing tributes to Ottawa and Canada. Our hearts go out to the city of Ottawa.

6. Washington Capitals 4-1-2: Alex Ovechkin was in the spotlight again this week. Glenn Healy’s stated that Alex Ovechkin is uncoachable. Healy referenced the fact that Ovechkin was a -35 last season and that he has gotten several coaches fired. Healy is counting the days until his contract expires in 2021. On the Ice Ovechkin has 5 goals and 1 assists with a +1 rating.
