The Chicago Blackhawks after a tough loss last night in Toronto head back to the United Center for some home cooking.  The Blackhawks are the league leaders in shots on goal yet they aren’t in the top 10 in goals scored.  Yes it’s great to dominate those type of possession stats but the Blackhawks need to start converting some of these opportunites into goals.

Since it’s been a few games since we did a prediction thread we won’t be looking back at some failed attempts by myself to pick a game, but with the Blackhawks returning home and the late game start no time better than now to make some predictions for tonight’s contest against the Winnipeg Jets.

Gameday Predictions

Since it’s been a few games there will be a couple of predictions for tonight’s contest

1. Jonathan Toews notches his 200th career goal against the team from his hometown.

2. Jeremy Morin finds the back of the net for the first time this year but still plays under 10 minutes.

3. Hawks win a fun goal scoring game 5-3.
