Chicago Blackhawks’ Three Stars of Week #4

The Chicago Blackhawks seemed to falter in Week 4 of the NHL season, with two straight losses to Canadian clubs, but with their final game of the week on Tuesday night against the Montreal Canadiens, the ‘Hawks made a statement, and got back on track with a 5-0 win. Through the thick and thin, here are this week’s Three Stars.

#3: Bryan Bickell

Bryan Bickell hasn’t had the hottest start to the 2014-15 campaign by any means, but his play seems to be on the rise after a solid week. Bickell recorded two points this week, both in the game against the Montreal Canadiens. Battling through limited ice time (he only had 7:21 in the ‘Hawks loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday), Bickell could be seen on the ice trying to make things happen, in a week where nearly half of the Blackhawks’ top-six didn’t show up to work. Bickell was +2 in the week, playing his trademark physical style, and finding some offense as well. Things may be looking up for #29 after his best week thus far.
