The Blackhawks face their biggest rival for years until the Red Wings bailed to the Eastern Conference last season.  The Red Wings are also planning on building a new arena so these visits to the Joe Louis Arena are dwindling.

The Blackhawks are currently on a 2 game winning streak showing some life after a couple weeks of offensive sputtering.  The Hawks have scored 5 goals in 2 out their last 3 games and everything looks to be turning for the Blackhawks as they visit the Red Wings.

The Red Wings are always a tough team to play with Mike Babcock behind the bench so no matter if Pavel Datsyuk is on the ice or not the battle against the Red Wings will never be easy.

The two teams face off for the first time this season and here are the TV listings for tonight’s old rivalry matchup
