Trevor van Riemsdyk was injured in the first period of Sunday night’s game against the Dallas Stars.  TVR didn’t return to the game and only played 2:11 Sunday night. After the game coach Joel Quenneville said that TVR will be out for a while which is really bad news since his out for a bit speech usually means 3-4 weeks.

TVR was having a very solid rookie season after signing with the Hawks as a free agent last year.  TVR has bad injuries in his past so this is not something to take lightly when Q says he’s out for a while.

The Blackhawks will call up a defenseman from Rockford for the circus trip so will it be Adam Clendening, Klas Dahlbeck or Stephen Johns with the possible wild card Kyle Cumiskey? Tomorrow or Tuesday we should now the answer.

For tonight it’s the fact the TVR will be out for a while.
