The Blackhawks visit a city that like Calgary was a house of horrors for many years in Edmonton night. The Glen Sather/Wayne Gretzky teams would out score the Blackhawks every time they visited Edmonton.

It’s not just old times that the Blackhawks would lose badly against the Oilers in Edmonton, they lost  as recently as 2012 8-4 in Edmonton with Sam Gagne collecting a 8 point night with 4 goals and 4 assists.

Today though is a new day with the Blackhawks starting to find their game and the Oilers at the bottom of the Western Conference.  The Blackhawks have won 3 out of four and finally have a second line that’s clicking with Brad Richards and Patrick Kane finally playing together and picking up points nightly.
