The Blackhawks continue their circus trip through Western Canada today when they drop by the Vancouver Canucks home at Rogers Arena to renew a rivalry that reunited back in 2009 when the two met up for the first of three consecutive playoff series in three seasons.
The Blackhawks held the upper hand in the first two and the Canucks needed an overtime winner in Game #7 after being up 3-0 to escape a humiliating defeat in 2011 on their road to the Stanley Cup Finals.
It looked like last season was it for this cast and crew of the Canucks finishing outside of the playoff picture, but this season the Canucks have returned to their winning ways and it all began with a new coach and a new star goalie Ryan Miller. Sure the Canucks have the same guys their we still love to hate with the exception of Ryan Kesler who we will see the Friday after Thanksgiving in Anaheim.
