Chicago Blackhawks: 5 Takeaways from the Weekend

1.  Stick with it. Saturday’s match up was an easy one to win, and Sunday’s was a tough one to lose.  But as Coach Q pointed out during his post-game interview, the Hawks have played the last 3 games the right way, and they need to keep it up.  They have to put this most recent loss behind them and look forward to the final phase of the circus trip.  The Blackhawks have 3 more challenging games ahead of them, against Colorado, Anaheim, and Los Angeles.  I’m confident they will be able to focus and finish off this road trip on the right foot.

Let’s end this with something fun.  Who’s with me in that Brandon Saad should shave off his beard (see above)?  It’s not the play offs yet, and besides, he looks so much better without it!  On to Denver on Wednesday night.  Let’s go Hawks!
