Good morning Blackhawks fans!

I just wanted to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving!

I have been with Blackhawk Up for almost 3 years now and the editor for over 2 years and I’m very thankful for all of you that take time out of your day to read what we have to say about our favorite hockey team.

Of course as Blackhawks fans we have a whole lot to be thankful for with the Hawks being in the middle of an unprecedented era of greatness.  The Blackhawks just a decade ago were by far the worst franchise in the NHL yet with some great drafts including two cornerstones of the franchise that will have their numbers retired in the rafters with statues outside of the United Center have turned things around a full 180 degrees.

There is the 2 Stanley Cup since 2010 to be thankful about as Blackhawks fans as well after a long 49 year drought without a Championship, but the game in and game out excitement this team brings to the ice makes them fun to watch  every game of the season.

Enjoy the Turkey, Stuffing and desserts and thanks again for reading!!!
