The Chicago Blackhawks return to Bridgestone Arena tonight a place that they have already visited this season in October and they skated away with a 3-2 loss which included a James Neal hat trick.  The Blackhawks were in the middle of their pretty average play when they visited Nashville a little more than a month ago.

Well, the Predators haven’t slowed down and sit a top of the Central Division with some excellent play from Pekka Rinne who missed most of last season.  The real change has been in the play of the Blackhawks who have won 10 out of 12 and 5 straight games.  The Blackhawks are scoring goals and being pretty stingy giving up goals on a game by game basis which is recipe for a lot of wins.

Now, With a Win the Blackhawks would take over first place in the Central Division for the first time this season even though the Predators do have a game at hand, it would be a pretty huge move by the Blackhawks after their slow start to the season. The Brad Richards, Patrick Kane, Kris Versteeg line hasn’t slowed down and will be looked upon for scoring tonight in Smashville.
