Chicago Blackhawks Vs New York Islanders: Start Time, TV Listings, And More

By Keith Schultz

The Chicago Blackhawks head to Long Island on Saturday night for the final visit to Nassau Coliseum before the Islanders head to Brooklyn.  There are some Championship banners from the early 80’s in the building but it’s been a long time since the Islanders fan base has been as excited about their team as they are today, and it all started with their offseason acquisitions of Nick Leddy and Johnny Boychuk.

The Islanders sit 2nd in the Metropolitan Division one point behind the Pittsburgh Penguins and they are fun to watch as they are fast and can score so expect Joel Quenneville to love the pace of the game on Saturday night.

The good news for the Blackhawks is that Jonathan Toews was able to travel to Long Island so what looked  like a possible bad injury doesn’t look to be serious.  The Hawks will look to extend their win streak to 9 so anything is possible on the beginning of back to back games for the Hawks.
