The Chicago Blackhawks get right back to work after their shootout loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets last night in Columbus when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at the United Center.  The Blackhawks have only lost 2 games in regulation in their last 16 games and will look to continue that hot streak against another Original 6 team tonight.

The Blackhawks looked more like their early season version last night firing 40 plus shots at Sergei Bobrovsky last night but only getting 2 pucks past him while Corey Crawford played well but couldn’t stop the 9th shot in the shootout to pick a Win.

The last time the Blackhawks faced the Maple Leafs it was in Toronto and James Reimer made 45 saves to preserve a 3-2 Leafs win and the Blackhawks were in the middle of their funk. The funk is now gone so it will be fun to see if the Hawks can show the Leafs the red hot team they have been since the circus trip began.
