It was a close and hard fought battle the last time the Chicago Blackhawks and the Winnipeg Jets faced off back on November 2 of this year. The Winnipeg Jets ended up skating away with the victory on Chicago Blackhawks ice with a 1-0 final score. The only player to score was former Blackhawks teammate Michael Frolik who netted one against Corey Crawford 20 seconds into the first period, which held up as the game winner.

This time around the Blackhawks are looking to even the series vs the Winnipeg Jets and pick up a point for the 13th time in their last 14 games. However, the Winnipeg Jets will not be an easy victory as they will be just as hungry to beat the Central Division leading Blackhawks in an effort to move up the standings from 4th place in the Central Division. While the Chicago Blackhawks stand at 3rd in the entire league with 48 points with a 23-9-2 record the Winnipeg Jets really are not that far behind sitting at 13th with 41 points and a 17-10-7 record. Especially after losing 4 of their key players over the past couple of months.
