Of course there’s 7 more days left on the calendar but probably won’t be any goal scored that tops our Top 5  list of best Blackhawks goals of 2014.  The Blackhawks as we all know are an exciting offensive team to watch so picking just 5 goals is a tough task but here goes.

5. Patrick Kane– Game #1 Vs Wild Second Round of the Western Conference Semi-Finals

You could put all of

Patrick Kane

‘s goals in top goals if you wanted to.  He does things with the puck very few players in the NHL can do and on this play he performed a perfect fake drop pass to

Patrick Sharp

and then put a great wrist shot up and over Ilya Brygalov to give the Hawks the clinching goal in first game of what became a hard fought series against the Minnesota Wild.  It’s a great example of Kaner being Kaner and of course it was our introduction to the word Showtime!

4. Michal Handzus– Game #5 Western Conference Finals vs LA Kings

With the Hawks down 3-1 in the series to the LA Kings the Hawks went to double overtime against the Kings in an elimination game and the hero unlike all the other games in the 2014 Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup playoff run was an unsung hero in

Michal Handzus

.  Zus was much maligned for most of the year but in double overtime when everyone was slowing down it seemed like Handzus had a little pep in his steps and he took a

Brandon Saad

pass and pushed the series back to LA.
