Brad Richards has missed the last three Blackhawks games, but it looks like he will be back in the lineup Monday night when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Nashville Predators at the United Center in a battle for first place in the Central Division.
Richards and his line of Patrick Kane and Kris Versteeg has been a very good line since Joel Quenneville finally put Richards with Kane with Kane going on a serious point streak with 16 in the month of December with one game remaining before the calendar turns to January.
Everyone in the offseason after the signing of Richards was excited to see what Kane could do with a real center playing with him and when the two were finally united it has been fun to watch.

Richards in 33 games has 6 goals and 12 assists for 18 points while Kane currently sits 6th in the NHL in the points category with 18 goals and 21 assists. A Richards return will help the bottom two lines which have been askew since Richards left with Joakim Nordstrom or Daniel Carcillo the odd man out of the lineup.
The other injury news is that Michal Rozsival looks to be back as well which isn’t that big of a deal for me with David Rundblad and Tim Erixon playing just as well or poorly (Depending on your outlook) as Rozsival without the one horrible turnover per game that Rozsival brings each night lately.
Richards and Rozsival look to be back on Monday, are you excited about their returns?
