Now that the Winter Classic has come and gone after the Chicago Blackhawks were surrounded by the TV cameras and hype, the players and team can get back to normal. It sure would have been nice to survive until overtime to get a point and possibly the win but in the end it is just another competition on the 82 game schedule. Sometimes you get a call or a bounce that goes your way and sometimes you don’t, in the end things usually even out. You can’t blame wins and losses on those factors though, especially not in the Winter Classic game. The opportunities were there and were not taken advantage of (especially the blown 5 on 3 power play.) With the new year that has come some people like to put New Year’s resolutions to the test. In this edition I would like to discuss the Chicago Blackhawks New Year’s resolutions that first come to mind. Feel free to also share any New Year’s resolutions you may have for the Chicago Blackhawks in the comments section below!
