The schedule after the Winter Classic to the All-Star break looked like the dog days of winter and really appeared to be kind of boring, but then something magical happened and GM Stan Bowman recalled Teuvo Teravainen from the Rockford IceHogs and the schedule turned from boring to exciting.

So are you ready for Teuvo Time.  Now how much will Teuvo effect the game is questionable but the excitement to see the young phenom is there right from the time it was announced he was coming back to Chicago.  Joel Quenneville isn’t going to do Teuvo any favors by playing him along side a player like Marian Hossa or Patrick Sharp, nope Teuvo is going to have to earn his stripes playing in between Ben Smith and Joakim Nordstrom.

The Dallas Stars are coming to Chicago needing to pick up nothing but 2 points if they want to get some momentum rolling with the playoff picture out of focus right now for the Stars.  This was suppose to be a taking another step year for the Stars which it has it’s just been a step back not forward.
