The Chicago Blackhawks take on a divisional rival tonight when the Colorado Avalanche visit the United Center . The Blackhawks struggled last season against the Av’s but this year they are 2-0 and looking for a third win tonight to keep the winning ways going while keeping the Av’s from gaining any momentum going this season.
The Hawks are looking to change their slow start rut they have fallen into lately. They have the heart of a champion and never give up in any contest but they sure aren’t making things easy on them with their slow starts. Twice in the past week they have fallen behind but have ended up coming back to tie the game at 4 and then picking up the win in overtime or a shootout which is great but sure takes a lot more energy.
The other thing to look forward to tonight is of course the 2nd edition of Teuvo Time! Teuvo looked tentative at times but way more comfortable in the third period. Teuvo looks to be playing on the third line tonight between Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw which should be a good mix for Teuvo Time.
