Good evening Blackhawks fans, the Blackhawks are back on the road where they seem to be a more focused group this season taking on their divisional rival the Minnesota Wild.

The Wild have been in major funk the past few weeks which included a 7-1 loss to the Dallas Stars last week,  the funk brought out a profanity laced tirade by their coach Mike Yeo at practice yesterday which as we know from Epix is an everyday routine for NHL coaches. The Wild looked to be an up and coming team after two straight playoff appearances both of which were ended by the Blackhawks, but this season they are struggling to get to the bubble line for a Wild card position in the Western Conference.

The Blackhawks after a great circus trip and hot December are in their routine in January already which is up and down play.  The defense and their goalie have been very inconsistent the past couple weeks which has caused the team to get off to some sluggish starts which has plagued them.  The Hawks will be looking for a hot start tonight in Minnesota so here are the listings for tonight’s Central Divisional Showdown.

Now on to the prediction part of the post, Last game I had Kane scoring and Teuvo assisting and neither of these things happened in a 2-0 54 shot shutout to the Colorado Avalanche and nobody predicted a shutout so on to tonight’s predictions.

The Blackhawks Captain is usually the one that turns it on when things aren’t going the right way so look for Jonathan Toews to open up the scoring in the first period for the Chicago Blackhawks and Marian Hossa to pick up a couple assists in the Blackhawks 4-2 win.
