Coach Joel Quenneville was a little less informative on what was talked about in the special meeting with a great quote below:

“We just watched some of the clips, that’s what it was about.” –Joel Quenneville

Jonathan Toews was also very vocal about the recent play of the Chicago Blackhawks following their second loss in a row at home Sunday night vs. the Dallas Stars but he was very optimistic. In his post-game interview he said, “You’re going to have tough moments throughout the season. We’re not going to overreact and make a huge deal and panic about anything, just like how we don’t get overconfident when things are going our way. We always realize it comes down to work ethic, and the last few games we haven’t had that and didn’t get the results we wanted. We work hard enough; we have the ability to turn things around pretty quickly.”

If the Chicago Blackhawks can figure out a way to buckle down defensively they will have no problem. This does not fall on Corey Crawford or the offense, especially when you score 3 goals and still lose the game. Just as Jonathan Toews said they it comes down to work ethic so they need to figure out their biggest lapses first and work on them first. Once they buckle down they will notice the results and will be able to turn things around after their recent skid. Let’s see if they can start that tonight!

What do you think the Chicago Blackhawks need to do in order to turn things around? Feel free to leave your comments on the matter below!
