This week during all of the All Star festivities Patrick Kane described his teammate Jonathan Toews as his “partner in crime.”  This little quote got me thinking of some of the most dynamic duos the world has ever seen.  Where do Toews and Kane rank with some of the other dynamic duos in the NHL?  Kane and Toews have combined for 93 points and a +25 rating so far this season.

Crosby and Malkin

Crosby and Malkin have to be mentioned in this conversation even though they rarely play on the same line together since they’re both centers.  However, when they are on the ice they are a force to be reckoned with.  Every year these two guys are prime candidates to take home the Art Ross Trophy as the league’s top scorer.  This season the two have combined for 102 points and a +8 rating.

Getzlaf and Perry

Next on my NHL dynamic duo list would be Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry.  Anaheim is always a threat in the Western Conference and these guys are a big part of it.  Corey Perry is one of the league’s top goal scorers and Getzlaf is always there to pass him the biscuit.  So far this season the two have combined for 81 points and a +27 rating.  Keep in mind that Perry has only played thirty-two games this season after missing a few weeks with a knee injury.

Seguin and Benn

Peter Chiarelli is still kicking himself for sending Tyler Seguin to the Dallas Stars.  Seguin who has amassed 136 points through a season and half is also tied for the league lead in goals this year.  Seguin has also brought out the best in teammate Jamie Benn.  The two developed instant chemistry and have continued to dominate when they’re on the ice together.  This is a scoring tandem that tends to be overlooked, but by no means should it be.  This season the two have combined for 92 points and a -2.

Giroux and Voracek

This is a new duo that has really come along this year with the emergence of Jakub Voracek.  He has had the potential to be a star, but hasn’t had the consistency in the past few seasons.  That is not the case so far this year.  Voracek leads the league with fifty-six points through forty-eight games.  This red headed duo can be a nightmare for opposing players to defend.  They’ve combined for 107 points and +16 rating so far this season.

Those are just a few dynamic duos that came to mind.  Who do you think some of the most dynamic duos in the NHL are?  Thanks for reading and don’t forget to give us a follow on the Twitter and like us on Facebook.  Enjoy the All Star game and Go Hawks.
