The Chicago Blackhawks were 1-3 on the ice show road trip when they laced up the skates in Winnipeg, but before the game I posted on Twitter what your feeling was about the Blackhawks if they finished off the road trip 3-3. The prospects for a .500 road trip looked bleak for a while until Patrick Kane took over in Winnipeg Friday night tying it and then assisting on the game winning goal.
It was interesting to read what everyone said about the Hawks current state heading into Winnipeg, and I suppose after an overtime win the feelings would be a little different then they were Friday morning but it was fun to see what everyone had to say. So here is a sampling of the responses to my question, If the Blackhawks finished the road trip 3-3 how would you describe the road trip.
The light at the end of the tunnel is that the next 8 games the Blackhawks play after this afternoons matchup against the Blues will be at the Madhouse on Madison Street with hopefully a non stop track of Chelsea Dagger playing game after game.
This trip has been tough with some really sour games thrown in especially the Minnesota Wild game, but if the Hawks pull out a win tonight they will be set up for a nice long winning streak with points to pick up in the all important playoff race and positioning!!!
