Another week has passed and as February starts to come to a close the Stanley Cup playoffs are taking shape yet there are still teams making moves up and some down with only 20-24 games left on the schedule for most teams. So let’s take a look at this weeks power rankings and this weeks movers and shakers.

. . Buffalo Sabres. 30. player. 12. They still headline the bottom spot, but they did win a game this week and are 3-6-1 in their last 10 however it’s full speed to McDavid for the Sabres

Edmonton Oilers. 29. player. 148. They are playing out the string…..Again!. .

player. 121. If they sneak into the top 2 spots in the draft look out next season! Look out they will bounce back quickly, this year their pretty bad. . . . Arizona Coyotes. 28

. . Carolina Hurricanes. 26. player. 109. They are 4-5-1 in their last 10 so they aren’t just an easy 2 points when they show up and the spoiler role could fit their mantra to end this season

85. They are offensively challenged. Just look at the excitement for 3 1st period goals on Saturday and then no more the rest of the game!  . . . New Jersey Devils. 25. player

Ottawa Senators. 24. player. 91. They have been a .500 team all year so don’t expect anything else from them this season. .500 gets you home for the playoffs in the NHL and 3 point nights.  . .
