The news that we received late last night about Patrick Kane wasn’t very good but of course all we have is sources from Chicago Tribune writer Chris Kuc and his sources are saying that Patrick Kane has a broken collarbone.

The timetable for a broken collarbone in 6 to 10 weeks. The Chicago Blackhawks season has 7 weeks left in it so you can see why every one is in depression/panic/worry mode about Patrick Kane because the injury could last 3 weeks into the playoffs.

This is the second straight season that Patrick Kane’s regular season could end with an injury. Last season he got his knee caught underneath Sheldon Brookbank and missed the final 3 weeks of the season before returning for the St. Louis Blues series wearing a brace on his knee.

This is pretty much a worst case scenario for the Blackhawks and it’s a pretty somber morning waiting for the official news to be released from Joel Quenneville and the Chicago Blackhawks organization.

Either way Quenneville said Kane would “Miss Some Time” which in Q speak usually means 2-4 weeks which after Kuc’s sources would be a great.

Kane to miss some time but nothing is official which makes things worse.
