The Blackhawks are finally away from the United Center and the House of Horrors in turned into after the Ice Show trip, What was suppose to be a walk in the park turned into a total nightmare for the Blackhawks which ended with the Patrick Kane injury.

The Blackhawks are off to South Beach and a very quick rematch with the Panthers who scored 2 late goals to sneak in a point Tuesday night at the United Center.  The Blackhawks have lost their leading scorer and are in no means a lock for the playoffs so picking up points will be very important on a nightly basis.

The question with the absence of Kane is who will step up.  There are plenty of candidates but the one that people are looking at the most is Patrick Sharp who’s been very quiet this season.  Someone has to answer the bell and there still is tons of talent on the roster so hopefully someone takes the reins tonight.

The Panthers sit only 2 points out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and will be looking to get those two points tonight at home which will probably a Stadium filled with a whole lot of Red jerseys.  The question heading into tonight will not be playoffs but will Petrovic have to stand up for himself which isn’t something the Blackhawks don’t normally take into their own hands.

The predictions for last game were not correct but a whole lot closer than the last few games.  I had the Blackhawks winning 4-2 and it didn’t matter what the final score was the injury to Kane soured the night and the victory.

Tonight’s prediction turns me to the players that will have to do some of the heavy lifting so I’m predicting a 4-1 Blackhawks win with Patrick Sharp, Marian Hossa, and Brandon Saad all picking up goals.
