The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired Kimmo Timonen from the Philadelphia Flyers for a 2nd round pick and a conditional 3rd round pick in 2016.

Timonen hasn’t played in all season long because of blood clots but was believed to be close to returning and had been practicing with the team.
