Another slow week for the Chicago Blackhawks finally has a game on the schedule when the Blackhawks head to the dessert to take on the Arizona Coyotes. The Blackhawks easily disposed of the Coyotes on their last game before the ice show trip and then lost in a shootout the first game back from the ice show trip.
Tonight will be different though one would assume with the return of Antoine Vermette to Arizona. The Coyotes dismantled their team well at least most of their assets from Vermette to Yandle for draft picks and prospects so the Coyotes are playing out the string but they can have a huge impact on the Western Conference playoffs down the stretch by being spoiler or just a team to pick up two easy points against.
The Blackhawks have had a lot of time to figure things out with long stretches of days off with new personnel after the trade deadline and they need to figure it out soon with the Minnesota Wild charging hard while the Blackhawks have been pretty much a .500 team since the calendar turned to 2015. The Blackhawks need to make quick work of the Coyotes on the road tonight and head to San Jose with a W in the win column.

Predictions- On Sunday night the Chicago Blackhawks played the Rangers and I didn’t predict a shut out and I predicted a Teuvo Teravainen goal which didn’t happen but he was by far the best player on the ice Sunday night and his play makes tonight’s game exciting to see the progress that Teuvo Time will make against the Coyotes.

My prediction for tonight is that Vermette will pick up his first goal with the Blackhawks in his homecoming to Arizona while Teuvo will have an assist in a 4-2 Blackhawks victory. Bryan Bickell will also score and have at least 3 hits in his return to the lineup.
