Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- 2nd Place In Sight

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans, The Chicago Blackhawk are inching closer and closer to the Nashville Predators and 2nd place which seems like it was a real stretch a month ago when the Chicago Blackhawks couldn’t string together more than a couple wins at a time and they lost their leading scorer for the remainder of the regular season when a cross check sent Patrick Kane to the Long Term I.R.

How times have changed and the while the Nashville Predators have cooled off, the Chicago Blackhawks have only gone 7-1-1 without their Showtime star in the lineup, and the team looks better than ever even if they only scored one goal in New York City Wednesday night.  As discussed earlier getting home ice advantage has been huge for the Chicago Blackhawks during the Jonathan Toews/Patrick Kane era and now they have their sights set on 2nd place and another playoff round starting at the United Center.  Here are some morning links to kick off your Friday.
