Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Sleepwalking In Dallas

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks visited the Dallas Stars last night and the only thing we can say positive about the contest is that it is over and well how great the crowd was attending the game wearing red. What a great traveling Blackhawks crowd and boy were they disappointed by the performance by the team wearing white.  The Hawks came out flat and against a desperate team it’s usually a recipe for a beat down, and that’s exactly what they received Texas style.

The worst part about the defeat was the fact that the Blackhawks could have made up some ground on the St. Louis Blues who lost earlier during the day on Saturday to the Minnesota Wild.  The Blackhawks have very little wiggle room between them and the Minnesota Wild so you can’t just be throwing games away like that, but after picking up a point in 7 straight games I guess a dog game could be expected.  The schedule is very friendly for the Blackhawks coming up the question is will they be able to take advantage of the situation! Here are some morning links to kick off your Sunday morning.
