Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Disturbing Trend

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans. Our favorite team took it on the chin last night and lost pretty easily 4-1 and now the Hawks are three games into playing some real subpar hockey.  Since their thrilling 1-0 victory against the New York Rangers, the Chicago Blackhawks have played 8 really bad periods in their last 9 and to make matters worse the Blackhawks aren’t scoring any goals having only averaged 1 goal per game in the last 4 games.  This is what we call very bad trends with only 2 plus weeks left in the season.  The Blackhawks need to turn this tide around right away or they will not be looking at the Nashville Predators, but they will be looking behind them at the Minnesota Wild.

Every team goes through funks and bad spells so is three games a funk or a disturbing trend? Let’s hope it’s not the latter and in the meantime here’s some morning links to kick off your Thursday morning.
