Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Darling Days At The U.C.

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Another playoff gameday is here and it’s going to be the second straight start of the series for Scott Darling.  Darling has only allowed 2 goals in 2 plus games if when you add the double overtime work he did in Game #1.  The strange thing about these Chicago Blackhawks is that they seem to work and play harder in front of Darling than they do in front of Corey Crawford.  Either way it’s Lemont Native Scott Darling in net tonight which is still a strange site after Crawford started the past 57 playoff games before Sunday afternoon.

The Blackhawks will be looking to gain a commanding 3-1 series lead at the United Center tonight and they need the victory to maintain home ice advantage in the series.  The Blackhawks in the Jonathan Toews/Patrick Kane era have been lethal with home ice advantage so look for a huge offensive game from one or both of the Chicago Blackhawks superstars tonight in Game #4.  Here are some morning links to kick off your Gameday!!!

The pregame festivities at the United Center are always great, but they seemed to get even better this year especially for the first home game of the playoffs.  Check out the pregame light show (Blackhawks)

For all the fans (and the bloggers) complaints and grumblings, Joel Quenneville nailed the lineup for Game #3 at the United Center on Sunday (Hockey Buzz)

Through the first week of the Stanley Cup playoffs, there have been some emerging storylines and here are just a few of them. (Bleacher Report)
