This would be the first time the Hawks would meet the reborn Minnesota Wild.  And it would be ugly.

Minnesota’s turnaround has been marked as the day they acquired goaltender Devan Dubnyk from the Arizona Coyotes.  Dubnyk was acquired when the Wild were in the midst of a 4-game losing streak and when no one considered them a legitimate playoff possibility.

On February 3rd, the Wild had won 5 of their last 6 games since Dubnyk took over between the pipes.  They would easily make it 6 of their last 7, as Dubnyk and the Wild would go on to shutout the Hawks and win by a score of 3-0.

Dubnyk seemed to give the Wild skaters a jolt as they peppered Corey Crawford with 43 shots on goal.

This has widely been considered on of the Hawks worst games of the season, as the Wild absolutely put the Hawks to shame in this one.
