Brent Seabrook. Just score another OT game winner and we’ll be good.
Kimmo Timonen. You’re 40 years old and this is your last hoorah. You are here for one reason, and that’s to hoist the Cup before you retire. So little man, make it count! We’re probably going to need about 10 minutes a night from you, so be reliable and be smart.
Johnny Oduya. O-du-ya! One of the best last names to say on the team. “Oh, do ya” think you can bring the Oduya that has been dominating since you came back from injury late in the season? We need that guy now more than ever.
Niklas Hjalmarsson. Hammer! God you looked good the last couple of games of the Minnesota series! Can you just keep doing that please? Get your stick in the way, block those shots. Just don’t take a puck to the throat, okay? We need to be able to interview you after the game so you can tell us how much fun you are having.
Corey Crawford. It’s been a tough ride, but you are rolling now. Just keep it up. Stay focused, stay confident, and don’t let anyone ask you about the first series. That is sooooo in the past now.
Scott Darling. Well Chewbacca, I hate to say it but I hope we don’t see you on the ice until next season. Don’t get me wrong, I love you, and I love your story, and you are a Chicago Blackhawk like you wanted to be since the first grade. But right now your job is to be a good teammate. In Twitter land, Coach’s Q’s Mustache would say, let the beard be an inspiration to the team.
Joel Quenneville. So you can’t let this novice Bruce Boudreau guy stand you up right? He’s got nothing on you. You have the experience, and you have 2 Cups! Out think him, out match him, and bring home a series win!
Is it Sunday yet?
