Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links: Long Wait for Round 3 Almost Over

Only one more day until we finally get to see our Chicago Blackhawks back in action. It has been an excruciatingly long wait since our Hawks swept the Minnesota Wild in Round 2. Not long after, the soon-to-be Western Conference Final foe Anaheim Ducks finished the Calgary Flames. Then both teams had to bide their time waiting for the more drawn-out series in the East to play out. Ironically, the Eastern Conference final begins this afternoon, one day ahead of the WCF.

So now we are down to the Final Four. Eight more games to go until a new Stanley Cup Champion is anointed, and Hawks fans are ever hopeful that we’ll see another parade and rally downtown this June. We’re halfway there, but there’s still quite a way to go and many obstacles to overcome. Buckle in and hang on – it’s gonna be a bumpy ride to the finish, boys and girls.
