Anaheim Ducks Vs Chicago Blackhawks Game #6: Live Streaming, TV Listings, & More

For the 1,000th time today you can read right here that’s it’s “Do Or Die for the Chicago Blackhawks at home in the United Center when they host the Anaheim Ducks who hold a 3-2 series leading heading into this Wednesday Night clash.

The Chicago Blackhawks have not faired well when trailing 3-2 in a series during the Joel Quenneville regime, having only won once, but that was against the Detroit Red Wings and it did lead to a Stanley Cup Trophy.

If you are looking for stats, The Chicago Blackhawks during the Jonathan Toews/Patrick Kane era are 13-1 in Game #6’s with their only blemish coming in 2012 against the red hot Mike Smith and the then Phoenix Coyotes.

Most experts and hockey fans all agree that this series which has been highly unpredictable and very entertaining deserves a 7th game in Anaheim on Saturday night.  It will be up to the Chicago Blackhawks to make this dream a reality and it will take a complete game effort from the troops no matter who is in the lineup.

The question is will Joel Quenneville make any changes in the lineup for tonight.  If this was any old regular season game, you could have predicted that Bryan Bickell would be stapled to the Pressbox tonight after his bad bounce dump in lead to the overtime winner for Anaheim.  This is the playoffs though and the one consistent thing about Bickell since the calendar changed to the months of  Stanley Cup Playoffs and has hit everything in sight which is the part of the game Q preaches to Bickell daily.

The Chicago Blackhawks take to the ice knowing that if they lose this is the end of this group of players that will get traded away because of the salary cap so expecting a total effort with their collective backs to the wall is something we have grown to expect from these Chicago Blackhawks which is different than most franchises in Chicago’s long sports history of failures.  This team has the heart of a champion and expect to see that in full display at home tonight at the United Center.
