Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Grand Theft!

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks flat out stole Game #1 in Tampa Bay on Wednesday night!  Granted shame on Tampa for playing prevent defense for 2 periods and trying to sit on a 1 goal lead.  I really thought it would be a wide open series, but the Tampa coach turned into Barry Trotz.

Thankfully this isn’t a struggling New York Rangers offense and the Chicago Blackhawks offense starting owning the puck late in the third period and finally broke through with a Teuvo Teravainen tying goal, and then the Teuvo forced turnover turned into the Game Winning goal!

The fresh legs guys have taken that scratch back in Game #3 of the Western Conference Finals and now they have proven how wrong Joel Quenneville was to park them in the pressbox instead of playing them.  Now Teuvo has 8 points in 13 games during the playoffs which almost matches his regular season production in 36 games. While Vermette has gone from a total bust of a trade deadline deal to totally worth it with 2 game winning goals in 5 playoff games.
