Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links-Teams Showing Interest In Patrick Sharp

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Another day closer to the Patrick Sharp trade which will happen before the NHL draft this week, but first the Chicago Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman has to find what the market is before pulling the trigger on a deal.

It sounds like the asking price is too high right now which if you missed it is allegedly  a First round pick and a prospect. I’m sure teams are struggling with the prospect part of the deal unless it’s the Florida Panthers who pick #11 in the first round this season and that pick may be just a little bit too high for Dale Tallon to throw away on the aging veteran winger.

Before the draft tonight is the awards ceremony which will be a bit strange not seeing Duncan Keith nominated for the Norris Trophy after winning the Conn Smythe, but the Conn Smythe means you probably won the Stanley Cup so who really cares about the Norris now?

Here are some morning links to kick off your Wednesday morning.
