Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Patrick Sharp’s Last Day

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! If history repeats itself then this will be the final day as a Chicago Blackhawks player for Patrick Sharp.  Stan Bowman has done most of biggest trades right before the draft so there is no reason to believe that this year will be no different.

There is a thought out there that if Stan Bowman doesn’t get the deal he wants then he will still be able to trade Patrick Sharp during the upcoming free agent period when teams miss on players they desire, but this really isn’t Bowman’s style so I fully expect that this will be Sharpies last day in Chicago and what a run it was for #10!

The Chicago Blackhawks do not have a pick in the first round thanks to the very successful Antoine Vermette trade, but Bowman will looking for a first round pick for Sharp today.  Things will heat up today, the question is will Bowman get the deal he’s holding out for or will he settle for something less.  Here are some morning links to kick off your draft day.
