Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links-Goodbye Patrick Sharp

By Keith Schultz

Good Morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! After weeks, months and quite honestly over a year of trade talks and rumors,  Patrick Sharp now is no longer a Chicago Blackhawk! Stan Bowman finally pulled the trigger on a deal that sent one of the biggest fan favorites to the Dallas Stars last night.

Patrick Sharp was dealt to a team in the Central Division which makes this deal a little tougher to swallow when you think about it, it’s not like he was sent to the Montreal Canadiens and we will only see him twice a season.. We are going to see him multiple times in both arenas next year which will make it feel worse at times!

The deal had to be done, but the biggest surprise is Stephen Johns is gone.  The young defensive corps have all been traded in one calendar year!!  I don’t get that part, but I’m not Stan Bowman, Here are some links to start your Saturday.
