For the third straight season, the boys in the Indian Head sweater are taking it outdoors. The Chicago Blackhawks hosted the Pittsburgh Penguins at Soldier Field in 2014. On New Year’s Day this year, they traveled to Washington, D.C., to face the Capitals. In February 2016, they will head up north to face the Minnesota Wild. Certainly the Wild will have a bone to pick with the ’Hawks, after the series sweep in the second round of the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs. As an added bonus, there will be an alumni game between the Minnesota North Stars and the Chicago Black Hawks of years past. If you go, be sure to bring plenty of layers of clothing. February in Minnesota? Brrr!
