Chicago Blackhawks: Top 10 Prospects, Part 1/2
By Skylar Peters

#7: Luc Snuggerud
Snuggerud’s rise through the ranks of Blackhawks prospects continues, most recently with a strong showing at this year’s Blackhawks’ development camp. Snuggerud is a strong-skating defenseman, making him a perfect two-way complement to a defensive- or offensive-minded defense partner. Snuggerud had a promising freshman season with the University of Nebraska, with 13 points in 39 games. With another season in the NCAA coming up in 2015-16, a breakout year from Snuggerud could see him sign with the Blackhawks next summer, and be a top contributor in the AHL come next October.
