No. 4: Kyle Baun
Baun is one of the fresher additions to the Blackhawks’ prospect pool, and it seems like his jump to the NHL may come as quickly as he came to the organization. Baun was signed as a free agent out of college this spring, choosing the Blackhawks because of their NHL pedigree over the past several seasons. With 20-plus points in each of his three seasons with Colgate University, including 29 in his most recent season, Baun’s numbers are sure to impress. Though he failed to record a point in three games with the Blackhawks after his signing, some have a feeling that he may have a chance to notch his first point as soon as October this year.
