Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Kick To The Gut

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans, well it’s more like brunch time but good morning to all. Well, it’s the fourth day since the disturbing Patrick Kane news broke from the Buffalo News, and it still feels like a kick to the gut.

Yesterday the news was that the evidence could take 1 to 2 months before the allegations could become charges or dismissed.  This means that there will not be a Black Cloud but a Tornado Warning hanging over the Chicago Blackhawks franchise the rest of the summer.

I wrote yesterday in my morning links post that this investigation has really sucked the life out of me wanting to write about my favorite hockey team.  So to try to pick me up, I went back last night and watched the 2nd and 3rd period of Game #6 of the Stanley Cup Final and the excitement I had watching this video just a couple weeks ago is now gone! This was supposed to be a summer of celebrations and now its just a kick in the gut and I can’t seem to get my air back. Which is probably why the links aren’t out early this morning but now.

Here are some links to kick off your Sunday morning.
