Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- One Fair Stanley

By Keith Schultz

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Stanley Cup showed up a the Illinois Fair this weekend and so after a solid week or so of Patrick Kane allegations and speculation it was nice to see fans again enjoying seeing the Stanley Cup back in the state of Illinois!

The Stanley Cup gets a whole lot of miles under its wings when it’s visiting Finland or Canada, but it’s always cool when it comes back to where it was won in Illinois.  This is what this summer should have been entirely, nothing but one huge celebration of one of the greatest championship runs in Chicago sports history.  It’s still hard to believe that they have won 3 Stanley Cups in the past 6 seasons after going 49 without a Stanley Cup.

I’ve watched 17 seconds video and the final 6 minutes of Game #6 of this years Stanley Cup Final and neither really have cheered me up since last Thursday’s news, but seeing fans at the fair enjoying the Cup makes it a little bit better. Here are some morning links to kick off your Sunday morning.
