11. Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets got bit hard by the injury bug and still managed to finish 42-35-5 on the year. The Jackets made a blockbuster move by trading Artem Anisimov, Marko Dano, Jeremy Morin, Corey Tropp and a draft pick to the cap-strapped Chicago Blackhawks for star winger Brandon Saad. The defense isn’t great, but Sergei Bobrovsky makes up for most of that in net.

Saad and Ryan Johansen could morph into one of the best tandems in the NHL playing on the first line in Columbus. Combine that with a pesky forward group and a former Vezina winner in net and the Jackets will be an exciting team to watch all season and could contend for the Metro Division.
