26. Philadelphia Flyers

The Flyers can score as well as any team in the league with stars like Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek and Wayne Simmonds. However, this is cancelled out by Philadelphia’s disastrous defense and poor goaltending.

Steve Mason appears to be the lead man in net, but he fluctuates from good to mediocre quite often. Mark Streit and Michael Del Zotto are the leaders on the blue line, but the unit is thin from top to bottom.

If the Flyers score at a blistering rate and get average defense and goaltending, they could challenge for a playoff spot. It’s hard to imagine, however, with the back end of the defense in shambles. It will be tough for the Flyers to reach 84 points again in 2015-16.
